Information stored on your device
Your current plan, memories, preferences, and locally imported data are stored in your browser. BDSF does not receive this device data merely because you use the app. Clearing browser storage can remove it, so the app provides an export you can keep.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides BDSF with your verified email address, display name, and a provider-specific account identifier. BDSF never receives your Google password. We store the minimum account record needed to recognize you and an opaque, revocable session token whose server copy is cryptographically hashed.
Optional cloud features
Cloud backup is optional and entitlement-controlled. When you explicitly save a cloud copy, BDSF stores the plan and memory data you submit in account-isolated storage. Device data is not uploaded automatically. You can download, replace, or clear a cloud copy through the app when that module is available.
Service and security data
Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary request data such as timestamps, IP addresses, browser information, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. BDSF uses Cloudflare for hosting, application services, and access protection, and Google for authentication.
How information is used
- Provide sign-in, account modules, and optional cloud features.
- Keep accounts and cloud records separated.
- Prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect the service.
- Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
BDSF does not sell personal information or use your plans and memories for targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
Device data remains until you remove it or clear browser storage. Sign-in sessions expire or are revoked when you sign out. Account and cloud records remain while needed to provide the service or meet security and legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of your BDSF account record.
Your choices
You can use the core app without Google sign-in, export your device data, decline cloud features, sign out, and request access to or deletion of account information. Google account permissions can also be reviewed in your Google Account.
Children
BDSF is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material updates will be reflected here with a new effective date.
