Agreement

By using BDSF, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who may use BDSF

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. If you use BDSF for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Your account

Core device features may be used without an account. Google sign-in enables account modules. You are responsible for your Google account security and for activity performed through your BDSF session. Do not share or misuse another person’s account.

Your content and data

You retain ownership of the plans, memories, and other content you create. You grant BDSF only the limited permission needed to process content you deliberately submit for an optional cloud feature. You are responsible for keeping device exports and other backups you need.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, probe or bypass security controls, automate abusive traffic, upload unlawful or harmful material, impersonate others, or use BDSF in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

Plans and modules

Features may differ by plan or account entitlement. We may add, change, suspend, or retire modules. Any paid offering will display its price and additional terms before purchase; BDSF currently makes no purchase through these terms alone.

Outdoor and activity decisions

BDSF offers planning and reflection tools, not professional safety, medical, travel, weather, or aviation advice. You are responsible for conditions, permissions, equipment, training, and decisions involved in any activity.

Service availability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or preservation of browser-local data.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BDSF and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using BDSF at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal obligations. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Changes

We may update these terms as BDSF evolves. Material updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
